We are situated on our own private 16 acre island, and from the moment you step off the ferry onto our beautiful sandy beach you will understand why so many of our past guests keep returning to Erakor Island.
We are only a 5 minute free ferry ride to the mainland, and a further 5 minutes by taxi or bus to the centre of Port Vila, so by staying with us, you can have the best of both worlds. You can do as much or as little as you like.
The resort features 18 unique absolute waterfront bungalows amongst tropical palm trees offering spectacular views & the sound of water lapping at the shore.
Accommodation
Each bungalow has it's own private ensuite, refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities, lounges, patio furniture, ceiling fans, ironing board, hair dryer etc.
And of course, you can walk straight from your patio into the crystal clear water of Erakor Lagoon.
We have two styles of waterfront bungalows.
Two storey beachfront family bungalows, double bed downstairs & three single beds upstairs in an attic style room. Single storey beachfront double/twin bungalow, double bed (a single bed can be added)
Dining can be either indoors or outdoors on our timber decking over the waters of Erakor Lagoon, Vanuatu's most romantic dining experience.
The food is superb and our menu offers fresh local seafood. Coconut crab (natural, garlic or sweet chili) is the house speciality.
Vanuatu's best Melanesian feast and traditional night of entertainment is held every Wednesday night starting at 6.45 pm.
If you are thinking of getting married, you wouldn't find a more romantic place than our very own open air historic chapel.
It is the sort of thing to dream about, with a native children's choir and with none of the hassles that normally come with a wedding. You can even get married on the beach if you prefer. Packages for the bride and groom as well can be arranged. Erakor Island Resort is very laid back and casual, but we offer everything you need to have a great holiday, at very reasonable prices.
