| The warm tropical waters are teeming
with multi-coloured fish, with an excellent variety of both hard and soft
corals. Swim-throughs, drop-offs and WWII wrecks and even an underwater
volcano all made Vanuatu a unique place to dive. Summer temperatures
fluctuate around 25º in winter and 31º in summer and the average sea
temperature is between 26º and 28ºC.
Our dive sites include some world class dive
sites such as the Tongoa wall, shark feeding and the world's largest
accessible dive wreck "The President Coolidge". Visibility
varies between 25m (80ft) and 50m (170ft).
We favour quality of diving over quantity and our
week cruise includes an average of 15 dives. We have weights, tanks and a
limited supply of spare dive equipment on board. Please give details of
sizes in advance if you require equipment |

| Culture |
| After some excellent
diving, your pleasure will be doubled as you will be amongst the
privileged few to share the unspoilt outer islands of Vanuatu and meet the
colourful and friendly locals in their natural village habitat. They will
danse, perform magic tricks and craft original artefacts for you. The
custom villages remain today as they were hundreds of years ago. You will
be offered local food and some kava - the effect is calming once you
recover from the taste! Tours to live volcanoes, traditional villages and
visits of historical custom sites as well as fabulous bushwalking through
exquisite rainforests really makes this trip special.
Food & Fun |
| Whilst this is not a
luxury cruise, our experienced crew will do their best to ensure your
comfort. Fish and fresh fruit are plentiful and our cook will prepare
wholesome meals for hungry divers. To finish your fantastic day on and in
the sea, relax and watch the sunset before dinner. Celebrate the hard life
of the South Seas with a drink, while the balmy tropical nights sets in.
Bring books or your favourite board game for a game before bed. Apart from
Port Vila and Luganville, the cruises operate in remote areas with no
tourists and limited facilities.
Useful Hints |
| Try to pack lightly.
Storage space on board is limited. If you need charging batteries, bring a
solar charging panel and/or a charger working on 12 Volts. Bring plenty of
suntan cream, mosquito repellent, a hat and a long sleeved shirt. Ladies
please pack suitable attire for visiting villages (sarong or half length
skirts). Ensure that you have a good stock of any medicine, film or
batteries you may need before leaving Port Vila or Luganville.
Itineraries |
| Some possible itineraries
are detailed on the map. All itineraries to or from Santo include diving

areas where culture and customs have been carefully preserved for
centuries. When possible, you will be given the chance to assist to
original custom dances rarely seen by tourists and regular visits to
villages or natural sites are organised ashore. Whilst we will do all that
we can to tailor your trip to your liking, we cannot guarantee precise
routings and schedules, which may be adapted according to weather and sea
conditions for your safety and comfort. An average of 2 dives per day are
