How does encryption work?

When you complete a transaction on our site, you are doing so on a secure server, using encryption technology that is built into your browser. Your browser scrambles the message into text that can only be deciphered with a special key, and it sends a different key every time an encrypted message is sent. Although the message could be intercepted, it could not be deciphered without the key. Think of it like sending your credit card inside an indestructible safe. Even if a thief came into possession of the safe, the information inside would not be compromised because the thief could not get it out.
