to the Villa Mamana, your exclusive and luxurious hideaway behind the
horizon. Located
on Telekivava'u Island in the island group of Ha'apai,
an almost untouched part of Polynesia. Traditional
ways of Polynesian life, like fishing from outrigger canoes, living in
Tongan Fales (palmleaf huts Telekivava’u Island lies 37Nautical Miles south of Pangai,the main settlement in Ha’apai(aprox.3000 inh.) and its regional airport. The island is uninhabited, even though occasionally visited by fishermen from neighbouring islands to fish its reef. The distance itself explains the traditional lifestyle in this area, since the next shop, gas-station, port or mailbox are all 37 NM away. A member of our staff will greet you upon arrival at the regional airport in Pangai and bring you to the wharf, where one of our boats (40ft. motor yacht or 27ft. speed boat) will await you. The boat trip through the idyllic island group of Ha'apai takes between two and five hours, depending on boat type and is a memorable experience in itself. The Villa Mamana is designed to host only one party at a time with a maximum of four persons – you will have it all exclusively to yourself. It’s 2690 square feet (250m˛) include 2 ˝ bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, lounge and verandahs. The
Villa Mamana is the only accommodation in this part of Ha’apai with its
azure seas, intact reefs and rich wildlife. |
