MV Oleanda (Coral Islands Cruises) |
| Oleanda, the 129-foot luxury cruising
ship is the first vessel to operate exclusively in Tongan waters. It
offers 19 double cabins and a large royal suite with a separate sitting
room. All cabins are air-conditioned and have private facilities.
There is restaurant and bar onboard, and a large sundeck for relaxing and great views. Cruise the crystalline warm waters with clear skies and balmy ocean breezes from Vava'u to Ha'apai to Tongatapu—what a great way to see all of Tonga! Because of the relatively small size of the ship and the shallow draft, you will cruise safely among the coral islands and visit gorgeous uninhabited islets and untouched coral reefs for beachcombing, swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. |
|
| Between July and
November, you can spot large pods of humpback whales! If you don't dive,
hop onboard the ship's glass-bottom boat to view the colorful reef life.
There are two cruises, with a 4 day and a 7 day itinerary. Every Coral Island Cruise includes all meals on board, shore excursions, snorkelling, coral viewing and entertainment. The 7-day cruise travels the whole length of the islands, departing from Nuku'alofa, the capital city on the island of Tongatapu, and concluding in Vava'u or vice versa. Visit many stunningly beautiful locations, local villages, enjoy watersports or just relax. Traditional umu feast with Tongan dancing by the villagers will be a unique and cherished experience. For a shorter cruise, the 4-day Vava'u Archipelago itinerary will show you the picturesque magic of the northern islands, and includes visits to marine caves and villages Plus… |
