This beautiful combination is one of our most popular holiday packages. Drive around at your own pace through California and include perhaps even Arizona and Nevada. Discover the stunning beauty of the National Parks of the Western USA. Experience the city life in L.A. and San Francisco before you fly on to Hawaii. You may also drive oneway between L.A and San Francisco and continue from there to Hawaii.

The last week you will finish your holiday in Paradise. Stay a week on the Hawaiian Island of your choice and enjoy the easy-going Polynesian Atmosphere. Simply relax on the beach, or explore the rugged beauty of these volcanic islands. There is so much to do and see, it is impossible to experience it all,

  • Roundtrip flights from Amsterdam to Los Angeles and Hawaii (United Airlines)
  • 1 night at Los Angeles Airport at arrival and 1 night at departure (Four Points Sheraton Hotel LAX Airport), incl. courtesy transfers

Day 1. AMSTERDAM - LOS ANGELES. You fly from Amsterdam to Los Angeles. Departure between 10 and 12 am., arrival in Los Angeles around 14 pm. (same day). You will clear immigrations and customs at first arrival in the U.S at your short stop in Chicago or Washington DC At arrival in Los Angeles, you can take the courtesy shuttlebus to your hotel on the airport, where you will stay 1 night. The afternoon and evening is to relax from the flight.
Day 2 - 15. CALIFORNIA SELFDRIVE. In the morning you can take the shuttlebus to the carrental depot of Dollar Rent a Car, for pickup of your car. During these two weeks you may explore the west coast of the USA at your own pace and following your own route (see Best of the West 14 day Selfdrive). Deliver the car back at the airport depot on the evening of the 15th day or morning of the 16th day at the latest (check your rental period, you may keep your car a maximum of 14 days x 24 hours). Check in again for 1 night at your hotel on the airport.
Day 16. LOS ANGELES - HAWAII. Your courtesy transfer is ready in the morning to bring you to the airport for your 6 hour flight with United Airlines to the Hawaiian Island of your choice. At arrival you pick up your rental car (maps included) and drive to your hotel, where you will stay 6 nights. You have still half a day to fill in.
Day 17-21. HAWAII (ISLAND OF YOUR CHOICE). Explore the island or relax on the beach. The islands are  offering so many sights and activities, that you will have time to short see or do everything. 
Day 22-24. HAWAII - AMSTERDAM. Deliver the car back at the airport depot of Dollar. In the evening of day 22 you will fly back to Amsterdam. Arrival is on day 24.
