Day 1: Puerto
Montt / Coyhaique / Balmaceda /Termas De Puyuhuapi
(Saturday
or Tuesday) The journey begins in Puerto Montt with a 45 minute flight to
the airport of Coyhaique / Balmaceda, in the Patagonia region. We are met
on arrivcal and transferred to Puerto Chacabuco to board the Patagonia
Express catamaran to Termas de Puyuhuapi, Hotel and Spa. Overnight.
Day
2: Termas De Puyuhuapi
(Sunday or Wednesday) Visit to Puerto Puyuhuapi with its characteristic
architecture. For those amongst you who would like to see more sights of
this region, an additional excursion can be booked to the Queulat National
Park where you can also admire the impressive "Hanging Glacier".
The afternoon is at leisure when you may hire a motor- or rowing boat,
kayak, canoe, windsurf or water-skis. Overnight.
Day
3: Termas De Puyuhuapi / San Rafael Lagoon / Puerto Chacabuco
(Monday or Thursday) At 07.30 am the Patagonia Express catamaran sets sail
from the hotel. The catamaran will sail along the Seno Ventisquero,
Puyuhuapi, Moraleda and Costa Channels and into the Golfo Tres Cruces and
the Estuario Elefantes. At around 2 p.m. we will finally enter San Rafael
Lagoon where we will find the San Rafael glacier with its enormous
mountains of 20,000 year old ice. We will spend several hours sailing
these waters and getting close to the multicolored ice floes. We will also
witness the spontaneous and thunderous displacements of ice from the
glacier's face littering the lagoon with multicolored ice floes. Weather
permitting, on board rubber boats you approach the bizarre ice sculptures.
Later we will start the journey back to Chacabuco Port, with an estimated
arrival at 10 p.m. Disembark and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day
4: Puerto Chacabuco / Coyhaique / Balmaceda / Puerto Montt
(Tuesday or Friday) In the morning departure for Coyhaique driving along
the banks of the Simpson River, through the capital of Aysen Region and
after approximately 2 ½
hours we will arrive to Balmaceda airport from where you ill fly to Puerto
Montt or Santiago.

Montt / Coyhaique / Balmaceda /Termas De Puyuhuapi
(Thursday)
The journey begins in Puerto Montt with a 45 minute flight to the airport
of Coyhaique / Balmaceda, in the Patagonia region. We will start a 5 hour
drive along the spectacular Austral Road, which will lead us to the
Puyuhuapi Hot Springs, the tourist center in the middle of Patagonia. This
country road runs through the unspoiled landscapes of Southern Chile. This
area has been declared a World Biosphere Reserve. In the evening you will
arrive to the Termas de Puyuhuapi, Hotel and Spa. Overnight.
Day
02 Termas De Puyuhuapi
(Friday) After breakfast, free morning to enjoy the facilities available
at this Patagonian tourist center. The cozy bar, the restaurant with
typical Chilean Gastronomy (i.e. exquisite shellfish), the pool table and
the video room. You will also have the chance to relax in the revitalizing
open air thermal baths, at sea level and surrounded by giant ferns and
unspoiled vegetation. Overnight.

03 Termas De Puyuhuapi
(Saturday) Visit to Puerto Puyuhuapi with its characteristic architecture.

nearby beach where we will enjoy a beautiful view over Dorita Bay and its
fish farming. We will also be able to observe the wide variety of flora
and bird life of the region. Afternoon Free. Overnight.

05 Termas De Puyuhuapi / San Rafael Lagoon / Puerto Chacabuco
