Lauca, Surice and Isluga National Parks
Explore the mountain ravines dotted with oases, Andean settlements and cultivated fields of pre-historic origins - And, at over 3,500 meters above sea level, the high tableland of the Altiplano, crowned by some of the highest volcanoes in the world and inhabited by Aymara shepherds that wander through the beautiful National Parks with their flocks. Here we find lakes, salt deposits and native species of birds and South American specimens of cameloids.

National parks in Lauca, Surice and Isluga were declared Biosphere World Reserves, to protect the rich ecosystem of flora and fauna in the Andean Altiplano. They provide breathtaking and solitary scenery, inviting adventure. The Andes mountain range is full of surprise. Up, Aymara shepherds inhabit the Altiplano, one of the most difficult places for human life. 

The ravine at the foot of the mountains is dotted with fertile oases, where beautiful villages from pre-Columbian era are found.
