For serious divers, liveaboards are often the
best option. You get the most dive time, the unspoiled locations and
uncrowded waters, and it's always fun to swap diving stories with other
divers and crew onboard. We represent the best dive boats in the Solomon
Islands, and are very familiar with all of them. |

| The diving in the Solomon
Islands is superb. The liveaboards visit the Florida and Russell Island
groups with longer trips ranging farther afield into the Western Province.
In the Solomon Island you will see majestic coral and fan encrusted walls,
World War II wrecks, passages laden with barracuda, horse-eyed jacks and
other pelagics, pinnacles, caves, lagoons, bommies, and everywhere school
after school of fish displaying every imaginable colour and size. Combine
all this with the opportunity to dive remote and otherwise inaccessible
areas, areas far beyond the range of day boats or shore based dive
operations... and this is why diving the Solomons by live-aboard is such a
wonderful and unique experience...
Try to pack lightly.
Storage space on board is limited. If you need charging batteries, bring a
solar charging panel and/or a charger working on 12 Volts. Bring plenty of
suntan cream, mosquito repellent, a hat and a long sleeved shirt. Ladies
please pack suitable attire for visiting villages (sarong or half length
skirts). Ensure that you have a good stock of any medicine, film or
batteries you may need before leaving Honiara.
