Ferry Service between Upolu and Savaii
The car ferry to Savaii from Upolu takes much shorter. It's usualy a pleasant cruise between the two islands with views on small islands in between and dolphins. We can book this ferry crossing for you, connecting with transfers to your hotels on both islands.

Schedule:

  • Departure from Upolu (Mulifanua Wharf): 8:00 hr, 12:00 hr and 16:00 hr (mo-sa) and 12:00 hr and 16:00 hr (sundays).

  • Departure from Savai’i (Salelologa Wharf): 6:00 hr, 10:00 hr and 14:00 hr (ma-sa) and 10:00 hr and 14:00 hr (sundays)

The distance between Mulifanua and Salelologa is thirteen (13) miles and the average time per voyage is one (1) hour. Every Tuesday, the Lady Samoa vessel goes to dry dock for her weekly maintenance. Samoa Express and Fotu Samoa then take over the schedule for Tuesday only.

Ferry Service between Upolu and Tutuila (American Samoa)
 The MV Lady Naomi operates between Apia and Pago Pago once a week departing Apia every Wednesday at midnight returning from Pago Pago every Thursday at 1600 hours.  The distance between Apia and Pago Pago is eighty four (84) miles and the average time per voyage is seven (7) hours.

This ferry can be pretty rough and uncomfortable. We suggest you take a domestic flight if you want to visit American Samoa.
