There are five cabins, accommodating the maximum of ten divers. All cabins are placed forward in the vessel, and designed to be quiet and superbly comfortable. The dive deck is where most of the action onboard takes place. It is designed to allow easy access to and from water. Situated below and aft of the main deck on the water level, the dive deck keeps your personal equipment, weights and tanks tidy and within easy reach. The dive area offers hot showers, dry towels, camera rinse and storage bins as well as on-the-spot bank fills. Tiata has also a custom-built 15-feet tender that can deliver you to dive spots away from the ship's reach.

All meals aboard the Tiata are served buffet style and can be enjoyed either in the comfort of the air-conditioned lounge or alfresco on the covered aft deck dining table. The cuisine ranges from European to Asian with Californian and Melanesian influences. For each trip, fresh produce is flown in directly from the capital while seafood and fish are either caught from the vessel or purchased, along with supplemental vegetables, from local villagers. You also find a selection of cold soft drinks and juices, beer and quality wines.

Between dives, Tiata provides ample space to relax. From the lounge chairs on the covered top deck you can enjoy the stunning island scenery, read a book or just snooze away. For the sun lovers, the white beach wood foredeck is the perfect place to pitch a towel or deck chair and soak up the New Guinea sun.

Tiata operates mainly in the Milne Bay and Kavieng areas. It can be chartered for small groups that are free to design their own itinerary. Experience the unique and complex destination of Papua New Guinea onboard the environmentally conscious Tiata and let the professional and experienced dive masters grant you all the personal attention you desire.
