New Caledonia is a fantastic destination of pristine white beach and clear turquoise waters combined with French flair. The capital Nouméa is nicknamed the Paris of the Pacific – with its excellent bistros, terraces and beautiful boutiques. At every corner they sell baguettes and croissants.

New Caledonia is located in the western part of the Pacific Ocean , between the east coast of Australia , Fiji and Vanuatu.

The main island, Grande Terre is about 400 km long and consists of a rugged mountain landscape with granite mainly on the east coast bays, white beaches and exotic rock formations.

But also on the more remote islands are attractions such as the Ile des Pines with its pine trees and sandy white beaches. Ouvea is a beautiful coral atoll lagoon with turquoise, coral reefs, white beaches and palm trees. Suitable for the adventurer, the larger and mountainous Lifou is totally unspoilt.

New Caledonia is a dependent overseas territory of France lying in the western Pacific Ocean, in the Coral Sea, to the east of Australia and west of Vanuatu. The territory consists of the main island of Grand Terre, the archipelago of the Loyalty Islands (Iles Loyaute), the Isle of Pines (Ile Des Pins) and numerous small, sparsely populated islands and atolls.
New Caledonia offers beaches, mountaintop fondue in chalets, camping, hiking, amazing snorkelling and diving, and fabulous French food.
