The Manta Ray Bay Hotel

Located on the waterfront in the heart of the capital of Colonia, the Manta Ray Bay is a hotel of international standard. The hotel was designed and built for divers, deep sea fisher-people and adventure travellers.

And today, continuing the traditions of servicing the needs of travelling divers, new owners Bill Acker and his family are also introducing game fishing in a prolific area which is rarely fished. There is a charter boat available, mostly for whipping for giant trevally along the barrier reefs.

The hotel has 23 rooms including a suite with private rooftop sundeck and jacuzzi.

All rooms are tastefully decorated in rattan cane furniture with designer print accessories and feature air-conditioning, mini-bar, a small safe for documents and valuables, colour television and video (tapes can be rented), balcony and private bathroom. Waterbeds are available on request.

The Manta Ray Bar and Grill, the hotel's rooftop terrace restaurant, features American and international cuisine and local seafood. The well-stocked bar satisfies even the thirstiest of visitors, and offers Australian and Californian wines. The hotel also has a gift shop and store and provides fax and travel services.
