Diving at Yap
Yap is known as the island of manta rays because you can see mantas here consistently. A new find is the manta ray cleaning station where the mantas queue up have parasites removed from them by small wrasses. These rays have a wing span of 10-20ft and weigh in approx 1,000lbs. There are introductory scuba diver courses for beginners and more experienced divers can attend Assistant Instructor level courses.
