The Maui Islander's 372 newly decorated rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, cable colour television, telephone, tub/shower combinations and in room-safes. In addition, hotel rooms include refrigerators, while studio and one-bedroom suites offer full kitchens.

The rooms are located in nine uniquely interconnected two-story buildings surrounding the swimming pool, barbecue and picnic areas. There are also lighted tennis courts, use of which is free to hotel guests.

The Activities Centre is open eleven hours each day and is second to none in service and aloha, presenting free lei making, hula lessons, and scuba and snorkel lessons in the pool as well as a complete range of island activities and tours.
