This property is 100% new inside. It was totally destroyed by Hurricane Iniki in September 1992. Reconstruction was completed in December 1994. Located 45 feet from the ocean---on the southeast tip of Kauai--- the setting is one of nature's best. Crashing waves! Gorgeous sunsets! Rainbows! Palm trees! Tropical breezes and spectacular 180* white water ocean views make this location virtually unbeatable.

This condo has two bedrooms, two baths, living room, dining area , kitchen, laundry and lanai. The sounds of the ocean are in every room. Quality is everywhere!!! Each bathroom is beautifully done with 12"x12" White Carrera marble, typically found in million dollar homes. The master bath is not really a bath, but a completely marbled shower. The second bath is completely marbled too, except for a conventional bathtub. The plumbing fixtures are top of the line. A chrome Altmans Dolphin shaped faucet is in the master; a sea horse shaped faucet is in the second bath. Bathroom cabinetry is solid oak with raised panel doors. Glass block is featured in the bath areas.

The master has an extra firm queen bed with a spectacular ocean view. It's one of the few master bedrooms in Poipu that has air conditioning. There's also a dressing area, built-in solid oak linen cabinet, 6 drawer dresser, and mirrored wardrobe doors. The second bedroom has one king bed, its own separate bath, five drawer dresser, linen closet and clothes closet. This room stays cool year round. Bedding is Ralph Lauren. Ceiling fans are in both bedrooms.

The kitchen is light and bright---with beautiful natural colored solid oak cabinets! It's fully equipped! Everything you have in your kitchen, is in this kitchen; microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, steamer, electric can opener, pots and pans---and even something you might not have---an ocean view! The counter tops are 4"X4" white tile, accented with six inch by half inch green marble trim. All appliances are white faced. The refrigerator has an ice maker. The floor is tile. Lighting is recessed, with dimmers. Eating is in a separate dining area. The table is glass with four high quality rattan chairs. A ceiling fan is overhead. The furniture is all new top of the line Hawaiian style rattan.

In the living room, there's a color television with built-in VCR and remote control. Plus a high quality stereo sound system, with remote control. The art work is very nice. Also included in the condo is a stacked washer/dryer and telephone answering machine.

Sitting on the lanai, the view is all ocean, 180 degrees!!! Directly in front of the lanai, huge waves crash against the bluffs. Turtles, dolphins, whales, seals and other marine species can be seen, on occasion, while sitting on the lanai. Looking east from the lanai, built into volcanic rock, several feet from the ocean, is the best located pool on Kauai. Maybe in all of Hawaii. On large south swells, waves sometimes spray into the pool. Brennecke Beach is a short walk along the ocean. Snorkeling, swimming, body surfing, board surfing, wind surfing, volleyball, picnicing, and people watching are favorite activites. Many other beautiful and secluded sand beaches are only several minutes away. If you're into golfing, this is the spot. Several golf courses, The Hyatt and Kiahuna, are within a 2-7 minute drive. Tennis is also available.
