The Mauna Lani Bay offers a selection of fine restaurants to suit your every mood - from the classic and contemporary American cuisine of the Bay Terrace, to the vibrant seafood and pasta at The Gallery, and finally to the beachfront Canoe House where you can experience the tantalizing flavours of the Pacific Rim in the glow of a magnificent Hawai'ian sunset.
Guest accommodations reflect the utmost taste and timeless elegance. Every
room is a refreshing tropical oasis and features a private lanai; over
ninety percent overlook the blue Pacific or the ancient fishponds. The
hotel features 350 guestrooms including 10 suites and five private
bungalows.
Villas
Adjacent to the hotel are the Villas, the ideal accommodation for families
seeking an island retreat of their own. The Villas offer full kitchens,
laundry facilities and daily maid service. Room service is not available
in the villas. A minimum of three-night stay and a three-night deposit are
required.
The Bungalows
There is a growing list of discriminating travelers who have elected to luxuriate in a bungalow at Mauna Lani Bay. The guest list includes retirees, newlyweds, vacationing families, hibernating CEOs, gregarious rock stars, and high-flying athletes.
There are just five bungalows: The Orchid, The Plumeria, The Hibiscus, The Bird of Paradise and The Heliconia. Each offers 4,000 square feet of exquisitely designed living space: two master bedroom suites, two master baths, one guest bath, spacious private living room, lanai and swimming pool. Each bungalow commands a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean or 14,000-foot Mauna Kea and each offers a steam bath and whirlpool spa.
Guests of the bungalows are met at the airport by their private butler and brought by limousine to the resort. A private library, music collection and well-stocked bar are available. A private chef prepares meals to the guests' specifications. Each bungalow is fully staffed so guests can fulfill any whim, 24 hours a day. Massages or facials? A session with a personal trainer? A private helicopter tour? A gourmet picnic? A round of golf? It is a world where "no" does not exist.
Activities
The
two immaculate championship golf courses leave no doubt as to why Mauna
Lani is where some of the greatest legends in golf come to do battle in
the Senior Skins Game. Ten flexi-pave courts are the centre of the
picturesque Tennis Garden, while the Sports Center is ideal for enjoying a
work out, an aerobics class, a sauna or a relaxing massage.
