Discover an exclusive hideaway paradise, located
on a private 10 acre island in the Tahaa lagoon, with stunning views of
the surrounding islands of Tahaa, Bora Bora, Raiatea and Huahine. The
resort caters to a small number of discriminating guests. The resort is 25
minutes by speedboat from Raiatea Airport. Located on a tiny private island, the resort is
reserved for those discriminating few who want to truly "get away
from it all." Three overwater bungalows and six beach bungalows
hidden among coconut trees, hibiscus and bougainvillas.
Each secluded bungalow is fan-cooled and features
one king or two twin beds. Dining is at the beachside restaurant and bar,
or there's room service. The cuisine is a delicate mix of local seafood
and exotic flavors with a French touch. A full array of activities can be
found, from energetic (diving, fishing, waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing
and snorkeling) to relaxed (books and videos). As Vahine is only a
25-minute speedboat ride from Raiatea Airport, it makes a perfect
complement to its neighbors, Bora Bora and Huahine.
Location & Access
On a private 10 acre-island,
the "Tuvahine Motu", in the blue lagoon of Tahaa. With a view on
Tahaa the Virgin Island (1.5 miles), Raiatea the Sacred Island (10 miles),
Bora-Bora the Magic Island (15 miles), and Huahine the Vanilla Island (25
miles).
Three daily flights with Air
Tahiti are available from Tahiti Faaa International Airport (35 minutes)
or from Bora Bora (10 minutes) to the Raiatea Airport, where we will greet
you and bring you by comfortable speed boat over the lagoon to Vahine
Island (25 minutes).
As a special treat, indulge
yourself into an helicopter service which will fly you from Bora Bora or
from Raiatea to Vahine Island in less than 10 minutes.

Accommodation
By design, construction
is limited to three overwater bungalows on the lagoon and six beach
bungalows hidden among coconut trees, multicolored hibiscus and
bougainvillae.
