The Tahiti Airport Motel is located in
front of Tahiti Faa'a International Airport, within walking distance of
the airport terminal and is the most convenient stopover for the late
night and early morning flights.
Designated for transit passengers who are waiting
to connect with domestic and international flight, the Motel
offers simple and comfortable air conditioned rooms.
The 40 rooms are equiped with airconditioning, television, refridgerator
and a coffee/thee set. Unfortunately the rooms
are rather dark, and they range from ample motel-size with king beds and
private bathrooms down to tiny share-bathroom units barely big enough to
accommodate a double bed. All rooms have fans and electric mosquito
deterrents, and all showers dispense hot water.
This modern and clean motel has many
facilities including Internet access, drinks and food vending machines,
and international telephone access.
Other facilities are internet & email
service, parkinggarage, laundryservice (200 meters) and restaurants,
shops and a busstop are within walking distance.
As the road from the airport to the hotel is narrow
and not very good and with poor lighting (may be difficult with
luggage), it is suggested that transfers be booked in advance or you can
catch a taxi.
