The
Tahiti Intercontinental, set amongst 12 lush hectares, is landscaped
around private beaches. Casual, yet elegant, the rooms and bungalows offer
views across the Sea of Moons to Moorea and guests can enjoy these views
from private balconies or from the seclusion of one of the 32 overwater
bungalows of which 15 are junior suites.
An
oasis of pleasure...
The
bungalows and rooms are air-conditioned and have a direct-dial telephone,
refrigerator with mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, radio and
TV.
There
are four private beaches as well as two swimming pools. The larger pool
(1,400 square metres) has a sand bottom and swim up bar. Water sports
include waterskiing, scuba diving, snorkelling, outrigger canoeing, and
sailing on a 12m (40 feet) catamaran. There is also a golf practice area
and two tennis courts.
The
Tahiti
Intercontinental has two bars, the Lotus and Tiki Bar. The
Lotus is a swim up bar in the infinity pool. The Tiki is an all-day bar,
open 10am until midnight. Both will serve exotic tropical cocktails or
your favourite drink.
For
dining, choose either the Tiare à la carte restaurant featuring its
resident live band and special events on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
night, or experience the Lotus overwater gourmet restaurant open Tuesday
