The 108-room Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort will encompass a beautifully landscaped setting with garden and over-water bungalows on beautiful Moorea Lagoon. Opened in October 2000, Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa is the perfect realization of a South Seas fantasy.  At this romantic and intimate resort, the outside world fades quickly as you relax in a private, air-conditioned bungalow rising above a spectacular 10-acre lagoon.

A viewing panel in the floor reveals jewel-colored fish beneath your feet.  A ladder drops from your landing into the warm lagoon, should you feel tempted to join them for a swim.  On land, each Fare (Tahitian for house) stands amidst luxurious gardens or on the beachfront.  And each Bungalow features a private outdoor shower with unparalleled views.

Each of the hotels 54 Overwater Bungalows  and 52 Garden and Beach Bungalows are equipped with all the modern conveniences found in a world-class hotel, including special touches like ceiling fans and claw-footed tubs.   Especially popular with honeymooners, the "island on an island" over-water rooms are connected by winding, wooden walkways built on stilts over the lagoon.

The Arii Vahine Restaurant: The Arii Vahine Restaurant at Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa provides yet another delightful over-water experience for Sheraton guests, for breakfast & dinner.  The menu tempts the palate with French, American and other international gourmet creations like poisson cru (fresh fish marinated in coconut milk), grilled barrimundi (a local favorite) and lobster.  The restaurant's signature dessert is an award-winning coconut soufflé. Theme nights and Polynesian shows are scheduled throughout the week; please confirm with our guest services upon arrival.

Rotui Bar & Grill: Located near the swimming pool and the beach, the Rotui Bar & Grill provides a casual, waterfront option for lunch, as well as the perfect setting to enjoy refreshing exotic drinks all afternoon.  Rotui serves elaborate platters of fresh vegetables and tropical fruits, capturing the flavors indigenous to the island. 

The Eimeo Bar: The Eimeo (sunset) Bar, adjacent to the Arii Vahine Restaurant, offers a stunning panoramic view, classic and island cocktails, and expert barmen who are more than happy to make a recommendation from their extensive list of fine wines and champagnes. A musical trio provides sunset serenades beginning at 6:00 every evening.

The Toata Bar: The Toata Bar - named after an island coral - is a memorable place to spend an afternoon or evening. Built over a natural aquarium, it appears to "float" on water like an "infinity" pool... with a sweeping view over the lagoon and Moorea's majestic peaks.

Activities

The concierge at Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa will be happy to arrange any number of exciting and enjoyable activities during guests stay, each designed to help our guests discover the essence of Moorea.  Guests can visit the Opunohu Valley by guided 4x4 jeeps, rent their own car or scooters, or enjoy a circle island tour by bus. For the more in depth, slower pace tour, perhaps horseback riding or mountain biking along breathtaking trails would provide guests with ample time to create memories, and take some snapshots to share upon your return home.

For our sport enthusiasts, hotel guests have complimentary access to our tournament tennis courts and a fully equipped fitness facility.

Each evening starting at sunset, hotel guests may enjoy various forms of live entertainment throughout the resort.
