Located in the
most beautiful bay of the island of HUAHINE, Pension MAUARII
warmly welcomes it's guests with authentic charm.
Accommodation
Several types of accomodations are available : private rooms, beach
bungalows, garden bungalows, or "family style" rooms.
Deluxe Bungalow 2+2 (Fare Oiri)
A traditional fare decorated in a local
polynesian style (braided bamboo, coconut), and with a beautiful
view on the lagoon. This "fare" measures 70 sqm. and is equiped with
a microwave and a refrigerator. Ideal for a couple and two children
or two couples traveling together. This "fare" consists of
two bungalows connected by a deck. In the main
bungalow : kitchen, living room, mezzanine room (with a bed
for 2 people) with a view on the lagoon, and a toilet. You
can also find two single beds. The smaller
bungalow consists of a bedroom (a bed for 2 people) and a
bathroom.
Beach Bungalow 2+1 (Fare Moana)
This bungalow measures 25 sqm. and has a large double bed with a
supplemantary bed for a child under the age of 12, private bathroom
with hot water. It has an inside living room, and a porch/deck set
up with table and chairs.
Garden Bungalows (Fare Honu, Tupa & Ma'o)
The garden bungalows are tucked away in
the vast grounds of Fare MAUARII, the three bungalows can accomodate
respectively 2, 4 et 6 people. These
bungalows have a private bathroom with hot water. The 2 and 4 person
bungalows measure 25 sqm. The 6 person bungalow measures 40 sqm. and
is also equiped with a fridge and has two large double bed in the
same room on the first floor, and 1 queen size bed in the mezzanine.
Beach Rooms (Iri Iri)
The beach rooms measure 20 sqm. and have private bathrooms and
private toilets at the exterior of the rooms. Each room has a queen
size bed with mosquito nets and a private deck where you can enjoy
the gorgeous view of the bay and the beautiful turquoise lagoon.
Beach Bungalow (Fare Bambou)
This bungalow measures 15 sqm. and has
a queen size bed with mosquito nets and
a shared bathroom with hot water and toilet outside (less than 3
meters far).
Garden Rooms (Fee & Puhi)
These rooms measure 20 sqm, have a large double bed with a
supplemantary bed for a child under the age of 12 The rooms share a
large bathroom, but you have your own private toilet. One of the two
room has a porch/deck set up with table and chairs.
Garden Bungalow (Fai Manu)
This bungalow measures 40 sqm. and has a
private bathroom with seperate toilet.
This bungalow has a maximum
capacity of 6 persons in three large double beds in the
same room.
Restaurant & Bar
Besides the exquisite view overlooking the lagoon, the Restaurant
MAUARII offers a refined and delicious menu, whose reputation for
polynesian specialities is world renowned.
Here, you
can taste the local vegetables and lagoon fish, prepared with
imagination and know-how. The multitude of fruits, vegetables and
varieties of fish from the open sea or lagoon will amaze and delight
your senses. Come and try our local specialities in the restaurant
MAUARII. The restaurant is open 7 days out of the week from 7:30am
to 9:00pm.
Outside of the meal times, the kitchen is open to prepare sandwiches for
you. You can choose between ham and cheese or grilled fish.
Come enjoy our local specialties in the restaurant MAUARII,
such as our crabs and our lobsters from Huahine as well as "varo"
(squille), a crustacean with tender meat that lives beneath the sand and
is caught on the island in a traditional manner.
Activities
A
nautical center is located on the grounds of our pension. You'll
have kayaks and pedal boats at your disposal to discover the AVEA bay in
front of the pension. Cars, scooters,
bikes and no-licence boats can be rent. The following tours are offered:

TOUR on an open-deck speed boat with stops on every islets of
Huahine.

who will tell you about traditions, culture, way of life of

surrounds this exquisite island. The lagoon's shallow waters of
this island enable jet skis to cruise safely accompanied by a

Location
In southern part of Huahine, facing the lagoon, the hotel is located
25 km from the airport and 19 km from Fare.
