The hotel offers 50 Over-Water Bungalows and 10 Beach Suites.
The newly opened resort features 10 beach
bungalow suites and 50 overwater bungalows with luxury amenities including
ceiling fan, mini-bar refrigerator, room safe, coffee/tea facilities. The
overwater bungalows have a bathtub and shower and glass-bottom tables for
indoor views of the stunning lagoon. The beach bungalows feature a jacuzzi,
shower and sundeck.
Over-Water
Bungalows and Premium Over-Water Bungalows: The 50 Over-Water
Bungalows are 53 square meters each (570 sq feet). All offer a very
spacious bathroom area with both a separate shower and a full size bath
tub. The vanity area and the bath tub feature glass tables tops to look
into the lagoon.
The well appointed
bedrooms all provide a king size bed. The glass bedside tables and the
glass coffee table in the center of the room enable guests to admire the
colorful underwater life of the lagoon from the comfort of the bedroom.
The coffee table even has a top that slides open to feed the fish below.
From the large sized
outdoor terraces, all can enjoy a magnificent view of the world famous,
breath taking Otemanu mountain. The terrace features a deck with lounge
chairs, a private, sheltered sitting area as well as a lower sundeck with
a fresh water shower and easy stairs into the lagoon.
Other amenities and
services in the bungalows include : international direct dial
telephone, television, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer,
ceiling fan, mini-bar, desk area, individual safe, a large sofa which can
be converted into a comfortable bed for a third person.
Guests staying in the
Over-Water Bungalows may enjoy the morning pleasure of having their
breakfast delivered by outrigger canoe.
Among the 50 Over-Water
Bungalows, 15 are classified as Premium. They have the best views of both
the mountain directly opposite and the surrounding lagoon. The location of
these bungalows is ideal for honeymooners.
Beach
Bungalow Suites:
The hotel features 10
Beach Suites located at the edge of the beach and all with
air-conditioning. Each suite is designed with privacy in mind by including
an enclosed garden area with a private full size out-door Jacuzzi and a
wooden terrace and sundeck. The bathroom is naturally and elegantly
integrated in the enclosed garden area (half indoor and half outdoor).
The large bedroom
offers a king size bed and desk area and opens onto a third area of the
bungalow, the living room, which has direct access onto the beach. The
living room is cleverly designed to provide a quiet, sheltered space in
the afternoon and a romantic setting in the evening and always offers the
dazzling view of the water and the mountain. In this room, the sofa can
also be used as a bed to comfortably accommodate a third person.
The Beach Suites offer the following
amenities : full size shower, full size outdoor Jacuzzi, international
direct telephone, television, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer,
individual safe, mini-bar, desk area and air-conditioning in the main
bedroom.
Garden Bungalow Suites: This new category of
bungalows will be available from the first trimester of the year 2000. Special
efforts have been undertaken to recreate the feeling of a traditional
Polynesian "fare" (home) for these 20 new Bungalows. They are
similar in concept to the Beach Suites in that they offer a private world
for guests and extend the same services and amenities as the above.
However, the Garden Suites will offer a larger tropical garden area
and a private plunge swimming pool in each bungalow instead of the Jacuzzi.
