The
Tahiti-Moorea-Tahiti route is aimed at a local and an international
clientele. The former consists of Moorea inhabitants who commute to Tahiti
for their work, and of a tourist clientele during the week-end. The
island of Moorea possesses the largest total of tourist accommodation of
all the islands of Polynesia, and Moorea's short distance from Tahiti
makes it a privileged destination.
Air Moorea operates an air shuttle service with a fleet of 3 Twin-Otters.
Since 1999, Air Tahiti
also runs a scheduled flight service to Moorea with the special objective
of providing regular connections with international flights both during
the day and at night.
Air Moorea flies to Tetiaroa, and offers charter
flights to anywhere in Polynesia. For
