Experience true Polynesian hospitality on board
the "Haumana" (Magical Spirit) a 110 foot twin hulled cruise
ship with 21 deluxe outside air-conditioned cabins -each with mini bar,
hairdryer, TV and VCR. For the comfort of all aboard, all inside areas are non-smoking.
With its relative small size, the ship offers an ambience that is much
like what you would expect if this were your own private yacht. While larger more conventional ships may briefly visit some
of these islands, the Haumana is ideal for cruising the lagoons and
exploring the islands in comfort.
Haumana offers a choice of three and
four day cruises visiting Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora and the price
includes all meals while aboard the ship plus many excursions. Port charges are an additional us$45.
Although the itinerary
may vary slightly each week, some of the highlights you may experience
include a Tahitian feast in the village of Tiva and a 4-wheel drive
excursion across the island to a vanilla plantation on Tahaa, shark
feeding on Bora Bora, or breakfast served as you relax in the warm lagoon
waters. If you decide you would rather skip one of the organized
activities to try horse back riding high into the interior of Raiatea or
scuba diving -the on board staff would be most happy to help you with the
arrangements.According to your wishes, you may
board or disembark on either Bora Bora or Raiatea every Saturday and
Tuesday. You can add the experience of this Polynesian cruise by modifying
or extending most of our packages. Or we would be happy to help you design
your own special itinerary including Haumana.
The Ship
The
"Haumana" (Magical Spirit) is a 110ft long, 147 ton luxury
cruise ship, cruising at a speed of 14 nautical knots around the
mythical islands of Bora Bora, Raiatea and Taha'a. The 21
deluxe cabins are all identical and air-conditioned. The cabins feature
a queen size bed, bathroom with shower, full size windows, minibar, hair
dryer, television and video.
A 45-seat
air-conditioned restaurant is located on the main deck to offer
panoramic views. The chef's international cuisine features seafood
specialties. The Bar and Lounge are located on the upper deck.
