| Namale Resort
If
you picture yourself with a bottle of ice cold bubbly looking out over the
azure waters from the deck of your own bure, or a private beach, Namale is
the resort for you. An
exclusive upmarket resort catering for a maximum of 16 guests at a time in
eight spacious bures sprinkled like jewels amongst 121 acres of tropical
heaven, Namale Resort is a very special place where the memories of a
lifetime are created. Internationally
recognised, Namale is located on the largely unpopulated and totally
unspoiled island of Vanua Levu, about an hour's flight on scheduled air
service from Nadi International Airport. This
intimate hideaway has just undergone a $2.5 million upgrade. A magnificent
new bure, 60 feet high, is the focus, built in the traditional Fijian
style and furnished with rich, big, overstuffed comfortable furniture and
incredible attention to detail. All bures (pronounced 'bur-rays') have been lovingly rebuilt during the last year complete with new modern bathrooms, beautiful rosewood floors, traditionally thatched roofs, complimentary mini bar, lovely white linens and curtains, and private decks. |

| The two honeymoon bures are perched high
on volcanic pinnacles with a bridge linking each to its own private deck.
Two more ocean view bures and four tropical bures, all set amongst lush
tropical foliage, complete with the picture of a tropical dream.
Where
romance touches paradise... The
staff of 38 loves pampering guests whether it be a chilled bottle of sparkling
wine for honeymooners upon arrival, or arranging a very special picnic at a
tropical waterfall. Your
escape is one of casual and unpretentious elegance. By day you can enjoy simply
relaxing around the freshwater pool, in the jacuzzi or on the resort's private
beach. Or choose from the many activities available including tennis, croquet,
volleyball, basketball, horseback riding, kayaks, waterskiing, windsurfing,
snorkelling, jungle and tidepool walks and more. World class diving is available
with the resort's PADI instructors and Dive Masters. By
night, guests gather under the soaring thatched roof of the main bure to savour
dishes prepared by an internationally trained chef. The excellent cuisine
comprises dishes of local fish, seafood and other delicacies to tempt the palate
of all. Your candlelight dinner is preceded by cocktail hour after which you can
dine at your choice of one of the private decks overlooking the ocean, or in the
majestic main bure. Entertainment is provided by the harmonious Namale Band, and
you can sit around the Kava bowl, or enjoy a weekly traditional meke (Fijian
dances). In
choosing Namale Resort for your honeymoon, anniversary, or long needed vacation
break you can rest assured that you will be well taken care of, and come home
relaxed and refreshed with heart-warming memories to last a lifetime. |
