Named after the first king of Rapa Nui, Hotu Matua was the first hotel established by islanders and it is located an easy ten minute walk from Hanga Roa village.

Restaurant
The dining room offers à la carte and buffet meals featuring a delectable blend of fresh local and international cuisine, with specialties being fish and lobster. The hotel has also a bar and conference facilities. There is an attractive terrace built over rock of the island.

Rooms
The hotel offers 54 spacious and modern rooms, and three suites with one or two bedrooms and lounge. All rooms are carpeted and have private bath, ceiling fan, fridge, mini bar and telephone. Most rooms also have a private sitting area. Room service, safety deposit and laundry service.
