Muri Beachcomber Resort

Lush dark green hills form the majestic backdrop to the Muri Beachcomber, nestled on the shores of beautiful Muri Beach and Lagoon which offers some of the best swimming on Rarotonga.

Sixteen units overlook the beach and lagoon and two have a tropical garden setting by the pool. Children under 12 can only be accommodated in the garden units. Units comprise separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee. There is also a guest laundry with telephone and library, and a newly constructed guest courtesy lounge.

Scenic and secluded...

Several barbeques encourage dining under the stars. For self-catering, there is a grocery store nearby, but for guests choosing to relax, three restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the Muri Beachcomber.

There is a petanque court, a freshwater swimming pool and adjacent to the property an Aqua Sports Centre offers canoes, yachts and wind-surfers for hire.

For exploration further afield, cars and mopeds are available for hire on site. The Beachcomber's tour desk can plan guest activities and arrange tours to the outer islands. The Muri Beachcomber offers beachfront views and quiet seclusion a mere ten minutes from the centre of Avarua.
