The Edgewater Resort is set amid tropical gardens on the western side of Rarotonga. Go to sleep to the sound of the sea caressing the shores outside your door. Wake up to the gentle breeze in the palm trees, the scent of tropical flowers.

We have 182 air-conditioned rooms, all with private patios, refrigerators, telephones, complimentary tea / coffee- making facilities and  a colour television with complimentary in-house movies. Choice of queen-size or two twin beds.

We like to pamper our guests at the Edgewater. Our two top class restaurants offer tastes to tempt every palate, from local delicacies to the best in international cuisine. And after a hard day in Paradise there's nowhere better to relax with a pre-dinner cocktail than Mal's Bar.
  • Mal's Bar: Named after Australian rugby league legend Mal Meninga, Mal's Bar is the ideal place to wind down  and witness the amazing display of colour in the western skies as the sun sets each day right in front of the Edgewater

  • The Brasserie: Get ready for the new day with breakfast at the Edgewater Brasserie. This casual island-style restaurant is right on the water's edge and is also a great place for lunch, a la carte dining and our special theme nights including the not-to-be-missed Island Nights.

  • The Spaghetti House: For delicious food with the real taste of Italy served in stylish surroundings try our speciality Italian restaurant.

Acticities

The Edgewater Resort has a full-time activities staff and a wide range of creative, fun-filled Cook Islands-style activities. Do as much as you like or simply relax by our large freshwater swimming pool or on the white sand beach.

The Edgewater Resort features four international tennis courts with a full-time professional coach, four squash courts and a holiday centre complete with rental vehicles.
