Upon arrival in this lush, green oasis, the amazing contrast of pristine white sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters against the starkness of the landscape cannot fail to impress.

One of the most spectacular wonders the area to offer is the coral and marine life found on Ningaloo reef, the largest coral fringing reef in world. The reef stretches from North to South 260km, supports over 500 different varieties of and comprises more than 220 species of coral.

Coral stretches out from the shoreline for approximately 2 km. First time snorkellers find these protected waters provide an ideal environment to discover the underwater world. During this time you may see North West Snapper, Parrot Fish, Mullet, Wrasse, Fusiliers and much more.

The area directly surrounding Coral Bay is a sanctuary zone, thus a multitude of fish life can be found. As you swim off the shore you will be greeted by the friendly Spangled Emperor (locally known as North-West Snapper) and as you venture over stunning coral formations you will see hundreds of varieties of colourful tropical fish. The Coral Bay area boasts a fine array of marine life, including Dugong, Turtles, Dolphins, the awesome Humpback Whales majestic Manta Rays and the mighty Whale Sharks.

Western Australia is also favoured with sunsets that sink over the ocean. People who enjoy dusks of burning orange or magical mauves will find these hard to beat And for the stargazers at this latitude close to the equator, you will find the evening skies full of brilliance.
