Hotel in Southern Highlands

Peppers Manor House

At Peppers Manor House we’ve perfected the art of indulgence. From the moment you experience the warm Peppers-style welcome in quietly elegant surroundings, until you drive away down the long sweeping drive, you’ll feel totally pampered.

Peppers Manor House is set amidst 185 acres of mature pleasant gardens and rolling pasture land, just south of Moss Vale at Sutton Forest in the picturesque Southern Highlands.

The estate dates back to the 1820’s when pioneering grazing family, the Katers, built the first homestead in the area. The present house, built in 1926, was the Kater’s family seat until 1965. The splendid Baronial Great Hall has a nine metre high ceiling, tall lead light windows and an open fire that burns all winter long. Open fires also burn in the music room and Kater lounge.

Dining

For elegant dining in a relaxed atmosphere, guests make their way to the newly refurbished Seasons Restaurant for the freshest of local and south coast produce. An extensive cellar compliments the ever-changing Seasons Restaurant menu.

For informal refreshments, or just a quiet place to sit and read, the airy cocktail lounge, offers peaceful views across the gardens. During the cool months, an open fire blazes, and, of an evening, the locals frequently drop by for pre-dinner drinks.

  • Restaurant seating capacity in Katers for 140 guests, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Guest lounge with open fireplace
  • 2 guest bars - The Nookery and the Cocktail Lounge
