| Mt Buffalo Lodge is nestled in the centre of the plateau,
far from the hustle and bustle of the city - or even the country. It is
located at the foot of a ski slope, which, in summer is covered in a

Winter activities |
| It's easy to decide if Mt Buffalo is right for
you! If you're after super ski trails, disco's, 2km black diamond
runs and big, busy ski resorts then Mt Buffalo is not for you. However, if
small, friendly and fun is what you want, and you're really looking
forward to the excitement of a unique winter holiday, then read on! You'll
find that our scenic and sheltered ski bowl provides easy access and lots
of fun terrain to enjoy.
Mt Buffalo's Cresta Valley is a scenic, sheltered ski bowl, with 3 poma
lifts and 2 chairlifts, our lift operators often get to know you by name.
Most of our lifts service beginner and intermediate slopes whilst our
Cresta Poma and Cresta Valley Chairlift open up some challenging
intermediate/advanced areas for skiers & boarders. And, of course,
there's always the magic of Mt Buffalo's picturesque cross country trails,
past granite boulders and snow laden snowgums! And the good news is that
use of the Cross Country trails is free on Mt Buffalo.
When you're ready for a hot chocolate, or the others are calling out
for lunch, we'll see that no-one's left out. From hot chips, to a tasty
foccaccia, whether you're enjoying a ski lesson or cruising Cresta Valley,
your appetite will have just as good a time. Our Licensed Restaurant and
Bar, Brumby's Run, is open most days for drinks and meals around a cosy
log fire. You can also visit the National Park display, relax and read a
book over cake and cappuccino, or browse through our souvenir and gift
shop for ski gear, souvenirs and any of those little things that we
sometimes forget. |
