| Peppers Delgany Portsea, located on
Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, is an oasis of calm, luxury and
sophistication just one and a half hours from the busy city of Melbourne.
The property was originally the private estate of a wealthy Melbournian
who named it ‘Delgany’ after a small village in County Wicklow,
Ireland.
The impressive sandstone building, in the style
of a European castle, dates from 1923 and sits atop a hill in the quiet
seaside town of Portsea. It is surrounded by five hectares of secluded
manicured gardens – with its own tennis courts, croquet lawn and heated
swimming pool – and adjoins the acclaimed Portsea Golf Course.
