Hotel in Falls Creek (Snowfields)

Attunga Alpine Lodge

Attunga, from the Aboriginal word meaning 'high place' has established itself over many years as one of Falls Creek's premier accommodation houses. It has everything that you might wish and need for a short weekend or a stay of weeks, both winter or summer.

Located high in the Australian Alps in north-east Victoria, Attunga Alpine Lodge was established to take advantage of some of Australia's most spectacular scenery and best skiing and snowboarding terrain.

Choice and flexibility to suit your individual needs is the key to Attunga's obliging accommodation. Let us help you enjoy a special alpine holiday.

Experience true alpine hospitality in a location that has the best views on the mountain - overlooking the Falls Creek Village, the distant Kiewa Valley and across to Mt Spion Kopje in the Alpine National Park.

Restaurant & Bar

With a modern a la carte menu the 'Windows to the Alps' Restaurant is renown as one of Falls Creek's finest venues. Attunga's expert chef prepares a daily choice of delicious food for your enjoyment which can be complemented with fine wines from the cellar.

The Restaurant and Bar is open to the public as well as for house guest's convenience. There is regular live entertainment on the grand piano for your enjoyment during the winter season. Reservations are recommended as often the Restaurant is fully booked during the peak winter and summer periods.

Accommodation
At Attunga you have a choice of either fully serviced Lodge (hotel style) accommodation with breakfast included as part of the tariff or a fully self-contained Apartment where you can have extra space and the ability to cook meals for yourself. Your choice also includes dinner in the 'Windows to the Alps' Restaurant as an option.

Flexibility is the key to Attunga's accommodation. You are free to choose your own arrival and departure dates. We will accept any changeover days you wish. However, our preferred changeover days are Sunday and Friday, providing the best prices for weekly, midweek and weekend package.

Our average guest length of stay is more than 5 days. As a result we get the chance to really help you enjoy your alpine holiday. We know many of our guests personally. We have a ski together, have a drink together, and we work hard to provide you with an enjoyable holiday. There is more to your alpine holiday than just accommodation, but comfortable accommodation and good hospitality together can make for a positively memorable experience.

Activities in Summer

In the summertime forget the heat and the hassles of the beaches and lowlands - come to the pristine 'air conditioned' mountains.
