- Experience travel passes, issued for a
specific travel sector, are valid for travel in one direction over the
sector which the pass name refers to from the first date of travel for
up to a 12 month period or until the pass holder has travelled once
over all sections of the travel sector.
- First day of travel must commence within 6
months of the date of ticket issue.
- Experience Passes are transferable between
travel sectors and individuals but all transfers must be approved by
the Experience head office in Australia or New Zealand. Incorrect
transfer will result in the cancellation of the offending pass.
- Experience assumes no responsibility for lost
or stolen tickets. Upon proof of purchase, a replacement ticket will
be issued by Experience's office or driver/guides only and a re-issue
fee of $25 will apply.
- Experience passes are non-refundable.
- Travel reservations are required and should be
made in advance of departure to help assure a seat. Changes of
confirmed travel dates must be made at least 12 hours prior to
departure changes.
- NO SHOWS: Should a passenger fail to
show for a booked and confirmed departure from any capital city,
Cairns or Alice Springs the passengers ticket will become void until a
$50 penalty is paid to reinstate the validity of the ticket. Should a
passenger fail to show for a booked and confirmed departure at any mid
point that passenger will be automatically relegated to a "stand
by status" for all future bookings based on available space. Any
passenger who fails to show for 3 or more booked and confirmed travel
sectors from any point will render the ticket void until a $50 penalty
is paid to reinstate the validity of the ticket. Any passenger who
cancels a confirmed departure on the Blue Mountains trip within 24
hours of departure or who fails to show for a booked and confirmed
departure will render that ticket void.
- All fares, routes and departure times are
subject to alterations without notice. Experience reserves the right
to substitute other vehicles in place of their own in circumstances
beyond their control.
- Experience is not a common carrier and
reserves the right to refuse to agree to carry any passenger, luggage
or goods without giving any reason.
- Travel agent Coupons must be exchanged for the
appropriate Experience ticket before the holder is able to get on an
Experience service.
- This ticket contains all the terms of the
contact between Experience and the passenger and Experience will not
be bound by any additional oral or written terms whether purporting to
be part of this agreement or collateral to it.
- Experience will endeavour to adhere to stated
departure and arrival times but will not be liable for any failure to
meet those times.
- Experience shall not liable for any loss or
damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly,
and abandonment of, delay in departure or delay during any trip
howsoever caused.
- Experience will not be liable for the sickness
of or any other injury to any passenger or for the loss of or damage
to any personal effects, luggage or other goods, whether caused by
Experience's negligence or otherwise, and the purchaser of this ticket
and passenger jointly and severally agree to indemnify Experience
against any liability to any person on whose behalf such travel was
booked or such ticket was purchased.
- Where the services of another operator are
provided for in this ticket it is agreed and understood that
Experience is acting only as agent for the passenger to arrange such
services and accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any default of
that operator.
- In the event of any increase in Experience's
standard charges which is identified in promotional material which
replaces that used by the customer for promoting the services as
described in this promotional material the purchaser of this ticket
shall be liable for the additional charge.
- Experience may alter its timetables including
those applicable to the services provided for in this ticket without
notice.
- In this agreement the term Experience, shall
include Oz Experience, Kiwi Experience its servants, agents and
subcontractors.
- These terms and conditions apply to the extent
that they are not inconsistent with or not in contravention of any
obligation imposed upon Experience by virtue of the provisions of the
Trade Practices Act 1974.
CONDITIONS FOR
TRAVEL ON QANTAS AIR SECTORS INCLUDED IN PASSES:
- You need to give at least 48 hours notice of
your desire to travel an air sector - you do this by phoning 1300 300
028 in Australia when outside Sydney or 9368 1766 when in Sydney.
- YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR CONFIRMED FLIGHT DATE
IF YOU GIVE AT LEAST 7 DAYS NOTICE BY CALLING 1300 301 359 IN
AUSTRALIA OUTSIDE SYDNEY OR 9221 4711 WHEN IN SYDNEY.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non
transferable.
- AirBus Pass packages are only available for
sale to travellers with travel originating from a place outside
Australia.
- Passengers must hold a valid international
passport.
All tickets will be sent to a nominated Oz
Experience office or agent for collection. |
