Ayers Rock & Kakadu

Northern Territory Adventure Tours operates a variety of adventure safaris around the Red Centre and across the Top End as far as Broome in Western Australia, both camping and accommodated. Our safaris are aimed at the soft adventure market with strong ecological content and emphasis on the Aboriginal culture of the area. We specialise in small group touring, providing a personalised service to our passengers.

Our guides are trained to the highest standard. All have undergone St John Ambulance training and possess vast knowledge of Geology, Botany and Aboriginal culture. Our modern fleet of vehicles ensures comfort and the flexibility to do small group charter work as well as the scheduled tours. This combined with the top quality camping and accommodation facilities we provide for our passengers ensure a safari whose value and standard is unsurpassed.

WHEN TRAVELLING WITH US...

We advise our passengers to bring suitable clothing, for example, warm clothing during the winter months, swimming gear and towel, camera and film, and most importantly, comfortable walking shoes as ours is an active tour. We also require that passengers are of reasonable fitness and any medical condition or requirements be brought to our attention before departure.

We ask that passengers bring only what is needed for the duration of the tour as storage space is limited. The meals we provide are largely BBQ and camp-oven cooking. We do cater for vegetarians and any dietary requirements should be advised at time of booking. We rely on each passenger's participation and sense of adventure to make the tour a complete success!

As used around Central Australia and in Kakadu National Park at the Point Stuart, Cooinda and Mardugal sites. The eco-tents designed for tropical conditions sleep up to 6 people on 3 double stretcher beds.

ABORIGINAL CULTURAL TOUR

The inclusion of information about Aboriginal culture within our touring programs is an integral part of touring in the Northern Territory. Where possible, we endeavor to visit and meet with Aboriginal people at their Communities. Please note that this is not always possible and not a guaranteed feature of our touring.
