Northern Territory Tours

There's nowhere in the world like the Northern Territory; and it doesn't matter how many photographs you see, nothing quite prepares you for the real thing. Ten times the size of the United Kingdom, Australia's Northern Territory stretches from the green tropics of the Top End with Darwin as its gateway, to the arid lands of the Red Centre, with Alice Springs at its heart.
At the Red Centre lies one of Australia's most recognisable symbols, Ayers Rock ('Uluru'), more than 1.3 square miles of solid red rock rising from red desert sands and spinifex grass. An exciting new and exclusive inclusion is the Cultural Centre Restaurant Breakfast and Aboriginal-guided Liru Walk, to discover the real meaning and history of Ayers Rock.
Further west are the distinctive weathered red dome sculptures known as the Olgas (or 'Kata Tjuta' meaning many heads in local Aboriginal language). There's also Kings Canyon where an eerie collection of weathered rock structures and an oasis with a permanent waterhole make an unexpected surprise in this barren landscape. At the Top End, a cruise through the vast wetlands of World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park may bring you face-to-jaws with a saltwater crocodile.
