Days 1 - 3: Darwin Spend three days exploring Darwin before your drive. Overnight: All Seasons Frontier Darwin. Day 4: Darwin to Kakadu (206 km) (130 mi) Along the Arnhem Highway drive to Jabiru and Kakadu National Park. Visit "Windows on the Wetlands" and Jim Jim and Twin Falls. Overnight: Kakadu Gagudju Crocodile Resort. Day 5: Kakadu to Katherine (296 km) (184 mi) Drive to Katherine. Listen into the world's largest classroom - School of the Air. Visit Edith Falls, mysterious Cutta Cutta Caves and the majestic Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk NP). Witness a traditional corroboree. Overnight: Katherine Frontier Hotel. Day 6: Katherine to Kununurra (512 km) (318 mi) On the way to Kununurra stop at Gregory National Park and Keep River National Park with its rugged sandstone gorges and ancient Aboriginal art sites. In Halls Creek swim at the popular Sawpit Gorge and Palm Springs. Overnight: Kimberley Lodge. Day 9: Halls Creek to Fitzroy Crossing (289 km) (180 mi) Time permitting visit Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater National Park. Continue to Fitzroy Crossing. Explore nearby National Parks and Geike Gorge. Overnight: Fitzroy River Lodge. Day 10: Fitzroy Crossing to Broome (391km) (243 mi) Visit Windjana Gorge along the way to Broome, a unique and exotic town established as a pearling port in the 1880's.
