Hayman is a resort like no other. Situated around a crescent-shaped, white, sandy bay on the south-western side, the resort is the only facility on the island. The buildings have been designed to blend in with the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Each year, humpback whales travel from Antarctica to the warmer waters of the Whitsunday region to give birth to their young. The whales can normally be seen from early July to mid-September and Hayman operates whale watching excursions aboard one of the magnificent vessels in the Hayman fleet.

Kidsz Club
Hey kids! Are you between the ages of five and 14? Then leave those ADULTS lying on the beach and come on over to our Kidz Club and Activity Centre.
Set off with us to a neighbouring island for some snorkelling and fishing, a picnic and our famous treasure hunt. Our activities staff have something different for you every day.
When are we open? 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. every day, except during Australian school holidays, when you can also visit from 6:30 p.m. -

Hayman also includes facilities to keep your children amused and happy on their stay - a babysitting service and creche, a children's playground, a children's Activity Centre, and the Kidz Club.

Entertainment Centre
The Entertainment Centre seats 300 people and features a large, fully equipped stage area and excellent audio visual facilities, making it a superb venue for product presentations, theatrical performances, cabarets and lectures. It has banqueting and buffet facilities for up to 275 people.
An extensive range of equipment is available for hire, including remote control projection facilities and multi-standard video editing facilities.
Business and Conference Facilities

The resort can design an on-island programme to suit all the requirements of your group, including activities such as The Corporate Cup, dinghy exploring, Reef trips, trips to Whitehaven, water sports regattas, golf excursions, golf target competitions, putting tournaments, squash and tennis competitions, bush walks and backgammon tournaments.
Hayman provides excellent facilities for business meetings and conference groups. Our state-of-the-art Conference Centre features a large, central meeting room which seats up to 80 people theatre-style. Adjoining this main room are three smaller rooms which seat up to 15 people and are ideal for workshops, meetings or small seminars.
A fully equipped secretarial office is adjacent to the centre and secretarial services are available on the island.
While the number of delegates is restricted to numbers from 10 to 150, larger groups should not be deterred from inquiring about the facility, as the number of people is negotiable on application.
Stella Maris
Stella Maris wedding chapel, set amid the tropical paradise of Hayman, provides the perfect setting for weddings and the reaffirmaton of vows. The chapel seats 36 guests and caters for up to 80 guests utilising the spacious indoor area and surrounding verandahs and offering beautiful views of the island and reef waters. Couples are transferred to the ceremony in a luxurious 1963 Silver Cloud Series III Rolls Royce. Wedding Packages incorporate the chapel and other romantic locations on Hayman.
How to get there ?
- Daily flights leave from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to Hamilton Island Airport and four weekly flights leave from Cairns. Our friendly staff welcome you aboard the launch, complete your registration and accompany you to Hayman.
- Alternative access to Hayman is available. Chartered helicopters leave Hamilton Island Airport and Proserpine Airport, charter amphibian aircraft depart from Shute Harbour Airstrip or other nearby towns, and a water taxi leaves from Shute Harbour.
