The Rihga Colonial Club Resort Cairns is a three to four star resort situated on 10.5 acres (4 hectares) of award winning lush tropical gardens. These gardens feature 2500 species of plants, echoing the atmosphere of the tropical rainforests in the region. There are three lagoon style pools, one complete with swim-up bar. The resort has five different styles of rooms and many resort facilities such as a hair dressing salon, resort shop, fitness centre, tennis court, conference centre, three restaurants, four bars and a take-away outlet.

Jardines Restaurant is a relaxed and intimate dining experience from an innovative menu. The restaurants ambience reflects the heritage of a bygone era in Colonial North Queensland history. Dine on the wide, airy verandahs or in air-conditioned comfort. Either way, Jardines is an exceptional dining experience.
For breakfast and dinner, open-air dining is one of Tropical North Queenslands great pleasures. The Homestead Restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast buffet with a vast selection of fruits, cereals, breads, juices, pastries, eggs, sausages, hash browns and much, much more.
It is available in two styles, Tropical Continental or the ultimate Full Cooked. For dinner, choose from our buffet with a full range of soups, pasta, breads, salads and fruits. This is complimented by our comprehensive a-la-carte menu, offering a great range of seafood and local game dishes.
Open for lunch and dinner, our Poolside Cafe has a great brasserie-style menu that includes gourmet burgers and sandwiches, delicious salads, seafood and pasta dishes.For a refreshing drink at the end of a day, you can't go past the Poolside Cafe and Bar for cocktails that are out of this world!! The Poolside Cafe also offers a take-away outlet open from 10am to 10pm.

These cool rooms are furnished in the simple style of the tropics. Each room is equipped with private facilities (with shower only), one double and one single bed, a wardrobe incorporating luggage stand and clothing drawer, writing desk, large wall mirror, two chairs, colour television, radio, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Two of these rooms have facilities catering for handicapped persons. - Colonial Room
These light and airy rooms are more spacious and equally well appointed with the addition of a full size bath and contain one queen size bed and one single bed. - Studio Room
These versatile rooms are self contained with limited kitchen facilities (microwave, electric frying pan, cutlery, crockery, sink) as well as an iron and ironing board. Each room features a main bedroom with bathroom adjacent and can be separated from the lounge and dining area. The bedroom contains either one queen size bed with 2 single divans in the lounge, or two single beds with one single divan and a double sofa bed. The unit will sleep up to four people. The decor is again tropical in rich terracotta and earth tones. - Superior Room
These large rooms are furnished with two queen size beds and have either private balconies or courtyards. Non-smoking rooms are available. All Superior Rooms have a private room safe, hair dryer and remote control television as well as an iron and ironing board. They are tastefully decorated in tropical colours. - Honeymoon / VIP Suite
These elegant suites are furnished in the true tradition of the tropics. Elegant cane furnishings, large bathrooms equipped with a luxurious spa bath and shower. A separate bedroom has a King size bed. These spacious suites are ideal for a honeymoon or a very special time away.
