Sheraton on the Park is a modern hotel but built in the traditional grand style.Guests are greeted by a three-storey lobby with four massive marble columns, an imposing grand staircase and rich timber panelling. The hotel is one of Sheraton's exclusive The Luxury Collection.

There are five signature suites, each decorated in a different style from Victorian to slightly Oriental. The two-bedroom Presidential Suite has panoramic views over Hyde Park to Darling Harbour.

Richly finished in Tasmanian oak and Italian marble, the suite has a separate study and spectacular white marble bathroom.

Sheraton on the Park has 511 rooms overlooking Hyde Park or the city, 31 Executive Suites with their own sitting area, and 12 one-bedroom Terrace Suites with their own tiled terrace overlooking the park.

Guest rooms are furnished and decorated with classic elegance and all feature opulent black marble and granite bathrooms.

Sheraton on the Park's Health Club occupies the whole 22nd floor. Guests can enjoy sweeping city views from the swimming pool. The hotel has an Executive Club lounge on the 21st floor offering complimentary continental breakfast, evening cocktails and business facilities.

The hotel boasts one of Sydney's top specialty restaurants, Gekko. This is contemporary Australian cuisine at its best. Botanica Brasserie provides all day dining, either buffet or a la carte.

The Conservatory, with its two storey window to Hyde Park, is a popular meeting place for afternoon tea or cocktails. The Hyde Park Bar is a cosy club-style lounge bar.

Executive Club On The Park is an exclusive club that entitles guests to full Butler service, personalised check-in and check-out in the private Club Lounge located on level 21.

Membership includes daily Continental Buffet Breakfast in the Club Lounge or through Room Service, Afternoon Tea daily in the Club Lounge, pre-Dinner Drinks and hors-d'oeuvres daily in the Club Lounge, full use of the Health Club, Boardroom and meeting facilities for up to two hours, pressing of two articles of clothing on arrival, shoe shine, local or international newspapers, local telephone calls from the Club Lounge, facsimile and photocopying services in the Club Lounge. Membership is available for an additional $86 per night.

Overlooking the broad green expanse of Hyde Park, Sheraton on the Park is very close to the centre of the city. The Town Hall, the Queen Victoria Building and most major department stores and top-class boutiques are no more than a 10-minute walk away.

The hotel is two short blocks from the monorail link to Darling Harbour tourist attractions and conference and exhibition venues, and the nearby Star City Casino. It is on a major route for buses to Circular Quay and the Eastern Suburbs.
