Quay West is an all-suite apartment style hotel offering guests self-contained comfort with the key facilities of a hotel such as 24-hour room service and the skill of a concierge. It has an excellent location just out of the main traffic stream near Sydney's historic The Rocks and the ferry and harbour cruise wharves at Circular Quay. Quay West is a few minutes walk from the city's financial district and a short block from a major bus route to both the Sydney Opera House and the Town Hall/Queen Victoria Building precinct. The 24-storey hotel has 130 one and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens and in-suite laundries, making them very much a home away from home. All suites have a two-seater sofa and two lounge chairs as well as a dining table seating six. All two-bedroom suites offer expansive harbour views while one-bedroom units overlook the city. Two-bedroom suites have a Queen-size bed and two singles. The separate sitting and dining areas make them ideal for entertaining and for long-term stays. Guests can choose to prepare their own food or use room service, do their own laundry or use the hotel's valet laundry and dry cleaning. Quay West has Harrington's restaurant and bar on the mezzanine floor overlooking the lobby. It is an easy stroll to many of the restaurants and bars in The Rocks, so guests have plenty of variety to choose from. The hotel offers a valet shopping service. The city's main shopping area is 5 to 10 minutes by bus or taxi.

Quay West's fitness centre on the 24th floor boasts an opulent Roman bath-style heated pool and spa with uninterrupted views of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour. A fully equipped gymnasium caters to people who are serious about keeping fit.
