Intimate dining in a relaxed environment with a daily changing feature
menu for dinner. Playfair Terrace is open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner and offers a warm and inviting venue in comfortable, informal
surroundings. Open daily from 6:30am.
- Playfair Terrace Coffee House
The Playfair Terrace Coffee House is the ideal spot for a light snack.
The Coffee House adjoins the restaurant and offers casual dining for
both lunch and dinner. Open daily from 10.30am for lunch and open for
dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Lobby Lounge & Bar
The Lobby Lounge and Bar offers patrons a relaxed environment, hidden
away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The candlelight and music
creates a tranquil ambience, perfect for pre dinner drinks and
cocktails. Open daily from 4.00pm.
- 55 George Street Bar
55 George Street Bar is a friendly and relaxed venue offering light
meals and happy hours. The bar also features live entertainment every
Saturday night, as well as on Sunday afternoons. Open Wednesday to
Friday from 3.00pm and Saturday to Sunday from 11.00am.

Old Sydney Holiday Inn is unique in design and in
the varied layout of its newly refurbished rooms, which are decorated in a
light and contemporary style.

- Double Room
Features one double bed and views of the historical Rocks area. Room
caters for up to two adults.
- Queen Room
Features one queen bed and some rooms have a double fold out bed. The
room offers views of the city and the historical Rocks and is suitable
for up to two adults and two children.
- King Room
Feature a king size bed with views of either the historical Rocks,
city or George Street. Suitable for one or two adults.
- Twin Room
Room features two three quarter sized beds and has views of either the
city or George Street. Suitable for two or three people sharing.
- Double Extra Room
Features one double bed and one sofa which conveniently converts to a
ready made single bed. Room is suitable for two adults and one child.
- Double Double Room
Room has two double beds and is suitable for families of two adults
and one or two children.
- Harbour View Room
Most rooms feature one double bed and sofa which converts to a ready
made single bed. Others have one queen bed or one king sized bed.
- Deluxe Harbour View Room
These rooms are larger Harbour View rooms. The hotel has four in total
and they are very popular for wedding nights or special occasions.
Rooms have either a king size bed or a queen size bed and all feature
double fold out sofas.
- Disabled Facility Room
The hotel has two rooms with facilities suitable for our disabled
guests - one double room and one king room. These rooms have hand
rails in the bathrooms and showers that are specifically designed to
accommodate wheelchairs.
