The Hotel Inter-Continental is a unique property which blends a modern hotel tower with the 1851 heritage- listed sandstone and brick Treasury Building on Sydney's historic Macquarie Street.

The glass-roofed courtyard of this splendid building now forms the imposing The Cortile atrium lobby bar and lounge overlooked by arched verandahs leading to most of the hotel's restaurants and function rooms.
