REFURBISHMENT IN 2000
Guest Rooms: To be completed by September, works include repainting of all rooms and hallways, new carpet and soft furnishings, update of all bathrooms and new furniture in many rooms reflecting modern decor and stylish colour schemes. For guests safety, hardwired smoke detectors will be fitted to all guest rooms. An IT upgrade has seen a state of the art telephone system installed which includes dual lines, featuring voice mail and dataports and electronic doorlocks installed for all rooms.
Lobby: The hotel will experience a "facelift" which will include updating floor surfaces, new furniture and extending the size of the lobby and reception desk. Work in this area will take approximately 4 weeks and is scheduled from 10 July to 9 August.
Restaurant: With the hotel in prime precinct, our new food and beverage outlets have been designed to reflect the cosmopolitan feel of each city. The Zest Restaurant and Bar will include outdoor seating and will open in the last week of July.
