Skywest Airlines operates autonomously in Western Australia although draws on the expertise and resources of its larger stablemate, Ansett Australia, where appropriate.
From its administrative headquarters in Perth, Skywest sets its own schedules and airfares and markets its own range of competitively priced package holidays and business products to destinations such as Albany, Esperance and Monkey Mia. An agreement with Ansett allows reservations to be booked through the Merlin computerised reservations system and all flights with Skywest attract points for members of Global Rewards.
Skywest Airlines operates from the Ansett terminal at Perth domestic airport and has locally-appointed agents in each regional centre to provide reservations and check-in facilities.

Skywest provides the essential link for 13 regional centres across Western Australia, from Exmouth in the north to Albany in the south,
Its network, which operates from Perth, provides services to Albany, Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Laverton, Leonora, Leinster, Mt Keith, Wiluna, Meekatharra, Shark Bay, Carnarvon and Exmouth.
Flexible Pricing & SchedulingThe airline's regular passenger transport schedule to the eastern goldfields, for example, is specifically tailored to meet the fly-in, fly-out operations of the region's mining industry. Charter operations can also bc arranged to suit one-off requirements.

Passengers anywhere on the Skywest network can book Ansett flights to anywhere in Australia through their local Skywest agent.
Similarly, all International travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, car-hire and package holidays can be booked through local Skywest agents in Albany, Esperance, Geraldton, Carnarvon and Exmouth
Freight to outback locations is handled largely by Ansett Air Freight, a seven day a week service operating from Kewdale. Utilising the freight-handling expertise of Ansett Air Freight and the large capacity of the Fokker 50 aircraft, this service provides for the urgent shipment of freight from Perth to any destination on the Skywest network

The Fokker 50's wide aisles and Boeing jet standard seating together with its generous cabin baggage lockers and jet-like quietness have been acclaimed by passengers.
