Aircruising by private aircraft

Conditions of Carriage

Carriage on an Aircruising Australia Ltd. program is subject to the conditions and limitations as set out in the brochure, and in the conditions and limitations applied by the air carrier involved.

The liability of the air carrier and Aircruising Australia Ltd. is subject to the Civil Aviation (Carrier’s Liability) Act 1959 as amended and the Trade Practices Act 1974 as amended or such other applicable legislation. The full conditions of carriage will be sent to you on receipt of your deposit and/or are available at Aircruising Australia.

Changes to the Itinerary

Because of changing operational conditions, we reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary when necessary. We will always substitute a program of equivalent interest, or a hotel of similar standard.

Aircraft

We reserve the right to substitute any aircraft type if operationally necessary and where possible you will be notified of any change in aircraft before departure.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that your clients carry travel insurance to cover them against such events as personal illness or accident, cancellation, loss of baggage, etc.

Cancellation Procedures

If cancellation of a reservation is necessary, the agent must inform Aircruising of the cancellation via email/fax giving full booking details.  Aircruising will then confirm that the cancellation has been actioned by return email/fax.  At any time prior to departure of the confirmed Aircruise the deposit of AUD$300 per person is forfeited.

  • Less than 6 weeks notice - 10% of final payment is forfeited.

  • Less than 5 weeks notice - 15% of final payment is forfeited.

  • Less than 3 weeks notice - 50% of final payment is forfeited.

  • Less than 1 weeks notice - 90% of final payment is forfeited.

Failure to join the tour or leaving after departure - no refund can be made.

What is Included?:

  • Air travel by exclusive 40 seat Fokker Friendship F27, 15 seat Jetstream, or similar        aircraft, specially configured for aerial sightseeing.

  • All aircraft are twin engine.

  • All meals; breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the entire period of the tour, except          for breakfasts on the first day and dinner on the last day of the Aircruise.

  • Best available accommodation in each destination throughout.

  • Comprehensive ground touring of the areas visited as specified in the itinerary.

  • Informative local professional guides to introduce you to their regions.

  • Entry fees to all attractions as detailed in each itinerary.

  • Full porterage service.

  • Airport transfers during the Aircruise.

  • Detailed bound journal to commemorate the journey.

  • 10 kg Luggage allowance (please refer to Baggage Allowance page 9)

  • Complimentary lightweight suitcase, cabin bag and document wallet

What is not Included?:

  • Items of personal nature such as telephone calls, beverages, services to hotel  rooms, laundry, dry cleaning, medical expenses, airport transfers before and after      the Aircruise.

2000 – 2001 Wholesaler Prices and Implementation of GST

As of July 1st 2000 the Australian Federal Government implemented the introduction of a Goods and Services Tax (GST).  The rate of GST has been set at 10% and applies to all goods and services (except designated items that are exempt).

As of July 1st 2000 Aircruising’s Australian touring programs will be subject to GST, while any International programs, ex Australia, will be exempt eg: the Circumnavigate New Zealand Aircruise   For the 2000-2001 all prices quoted in this manual are referred to as Gross Rates.
