Performance Sailing
Old racing yachts never die, they simply sail of into a tropical
sunset. Just such a fate was awaiting Alan Bond's former America's Cup
training vessel, "Apollo III", when she finished her racing
career. "Apollo III" is a 55ft ocean racing yacht which
campaigned in numerous ocean races including 6 Sydney to Hobart's and the
prestigious Admirals Cup series in England. She has since been refurbished
for charter with open plan accommodation for 12 guests and enjoys a
leisurely retirement cruising the beautiful Whitsunday Islands.
Hey! It's not all sailing
You'll have plenty of time for snorkelling amongst brilliant
coral and tropical fish, sunbathing on deserted beaches, or hiking
National Park trails. Highlights of your cruise include visits to the
resort islands of Hamilton and South Molle, world famous Whitehaven Beach,
Hook Island Observatory, Aboriginal Rock Art at Nara Inlet, uninhabited
Border Island and the excellent snorkelling and diving areas of Blue Pearl
Bay. "Apollo III" offers an exciting and fun filled holiday
