Spirit 2 Camper (Pop Top)

Two people can set off on adventure very comfortably in Spirit 2. Even our smallest motorhome is cleverly designed to make the maximum use of space. Spirit 2 has a pop up roof creating an airy spacious feel when you're relaxing in your living area. It is also fully equipped for cooking, dining, and sleeping. It has its own gas cooker with griller, a fridge freezer, a fresh water tank, hot water capacity, and ample storage. 

There are fly screens on all 5 windows in the back, and air-conditioning in the driving cab. Cruise to music if you wish, as there's a radio/ cassette in the cab and speakers front and back. Although there is no bathroom or toilet, a hand held shower with mixer tap is supplied so you can bathe in the great outdoors.

DRIVING

  • Seating Configuration: Seatbelts for two in the front driving cab.
  • Baby/Booster Seat Fitting:Can be fitted on rear seats facing forward. Baby Booster seats have to be pre-booked, otherwise cannot be guaranteed.
  • Radio/Cassette: Radio/cassette player, speakers only in driving cab.
  • Cigarette Lighter: 12V which is suitable to charge up video camera batteries.
  • Air Bags: Two air bags for two front seats.
  • Fuel: Diesel only: 68 litre tank/15 gallon.
  • Fuel Consumption: Approximately 8 km per litre, 12 litres per 100 km. This may vary, subject to use of air-conditioning, temperature and terrain.
  • Diesel Price in Australia: : Varies from 70 cents to A$1 per litre, depending on town of purchase.
  • Engine Specifications: 2.5 litre, diesel turbo.
  • Transmission: Manual.
  • Power Equipment: Power steering, power assisted brakes.
  • Tyres: Tyre pressure should be checked regularly. The recommended pressure is 50 psi.
  • Spare Tyre: The spare tyre is located under rear of the vehicle. External access only.
  • Tools: The tool kit is located behind the drivers seat.

LIVING

  • Sleeping configuration: One double bed
  • Fridge Freezer: The fridge operates on 12V battery whilst driving and on 240V mains when plugged in at a camp ground. The fridge will automatically switch over between the two supplies. Fridge capacity 55 litre.
  • Gas Cooker: 2 ring cooker with griller ignited by match.
  • Gas Bottle: A 9kg bottle. The gas bottle is located in the external storage locker on the drivers side of the vehicle. Bottle has an 'ON/OFF' tap on it. Please ensure it is in 'OFF' position when not in use and when driving.
  • Microwave: The microwave operates from 240V only so the vehicle must be plugged into mains power to operate.
  • Water Heater: Water heater works on gas and is operated by a switch. Water will be heated after approximately 15 minutes.
  • Fresh Water Tank: Capacity is 70 litre/15 gallon. The filler cap is located on the passenger side of the vehicle marked 'WATER' and the filler hose is in the wardrobe.
  • Grey Water Tank: Holding tank for grey waste water generated from the kitchen sink. Disposable at all camp grounds and dump sites. Holds 70 litres/15 gallons grey water, and should be empty on drop-off. Grey water hose is in the driver's side exterior compartment.
  • Lighting: Interior lights operate off both 12V batteries and 240V mains supply.
  • Air Conditioning/Heating: Rear cabin air conditioning/heating operates on 240V when plugged in at a camping ground only.
  • Power Supply: 240V mains and 12V battery. The 240V mains power operates when the exterior power cable is plugged in at a camp ground. There are two 12V batteries, one for starting the engine and the other for domestic 12V system. This system includes water pump and fridge. Batteries are recharged by engine alternator.
  • Storage: Ample cupboard space, storage under seats at rear of vehicle and henging wardrobe. Additional luggage storage at Maui Depots.
  • Skylights: One in the rear of the living area. Ensure this is closed when driving.
  • Fly Screens: Placed on all windows in living area.
  • Flooring: Easy to care for linoleum.
  • Internal Access: Internal access between the driver's cabin and living area.
  • Exterior Access: Back door. No exterior doorstep.
