The hotel infrastructure of Thailand is nothing
less than excellent. Hotel accommodation is available in all categories,
from the most basic, cheap guest house to hotels that range top by
international standards. And accommodation of all categories, right up
to the top, cannot only be found in Bangkok but in provincial towns and
tourist destinations as well.
Prices for luxurious hotel rooms, at least in Bangkok, are pretty much on an international level, closer to 200 US Dollars per night than to 100 US Dollars. In provincial cities or resort towns, however, one pays for the same standard only a bit more than half of what is common in Bangkok. Below yo find a list of accommodation. For your convenience we have grouped them per island (location). As indication on the luxery rating we have classified the hotel in middleclass (*** / MC), first class (**** / FC) and deluxe (***** / DL) hotels and resorts. Current room rates you will find at the bottom of each hotelpage. The hotelrates are per person in Thb (Thai Baht) and your home currency and include tax. The rates are valid for the current season from 1 April till 31 March. If a certain hotel is not listed, or a rate is on request, please send us an email requesting that information. |
